GEAUX TIGERS!!!

So, I have not posted anything in a while. I have been kind of busy with school! I have never had more projects that I do right now. It is crazy the amount of free time these teachers think we have to do outside class group projects. Anyways, I will get off of my soapbox! LSU beat bama last week! Whether it was luck or what we still went down with the W!! I personally can not believe we pulled it out with the amount of penalties we got! The refs basically sucked. And I am not saying that because they gave us a lot of penalties. They reversed half of their calls. No ref should have to reverse as many calls as they did in that game!!! Even though most of them were beneficial to us, you still should not have to reverse that many! Ms State plays bama this week and I think we have a shot at winning!!! State has really surprised me this year!!! so GO STATE!!!!!

I registered for classes yesterday. Now that I am in Education school they kind of tell me what classes I have to take and when I have to take them. There are two classes on the list that I have to take next semester and they are all full. How stupid is it to say to 100 people you have to take this class but we are only going to have 50 seats. So after I did not get into them I went to talk to lady over the schedules about it today and all she had to say was I will put you on a waiting list- which by the way was a post it note. That made me a little mad. So I came back home and emailed the dean who is good friends with my advisor and told her what was going on. Hopefully she will be able to do something about it! If not, this will put me a whole year behind. If I have to do that I think I might quit. So I have started the day off TERRIBLE!!!!

Well that is enough complaining I suppose. I am so excited about next weekend!!!!! I am going to Oxford for the ole miss - LSU game! !!!!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!! Its going to be sooooooooooooo much fun!!!!!

Well this semester is almost over! Only a few weeks left!!! YAY

I dont know what to call this.

So I slept for 14 1/2 hours last night! And I was NOT medicated! It was NICE!!! I laid down on the couch at like 8 to watch TV and sometime after that I fell asleep! My room mate left me on the couch asleep and the next thing I knew it was 5 am so then I moved to my bed where I slept until 11! I felt like such a bum but I needed that sleep BAD!

I am doing Practicum right now for a 3rd grade class here in Starkville. Its fun and I am learning a lot about being a teacher! Today I got to go on a field trip with them. It was SOOO much fun! I have not been on a school bus in a long time. We just rode to State but it was still fun!

Tomorrow State has a home game and I am actually going to go! We play Tennessee! It would be pretty cool if we beat them! We did beat Auburn so there may be a chance!

Well I think I am going to go to bed. I am going to try to stay caught up on sleep since I am in the middle of MidTerms!

I am coming home Thursday for a few days to see Allison in the homecoming parade and in the festivities at the game! I had strict orders from the princess to be there, so I can not skip out! She thinks she is going to be the princess for eternity because of all of this. I made her a cute scrapbook last night so she can add pictures from this week! I really like it! I still can not believe I am going back to the high school homecoming. This is not me at all to do so! I generally pick on the people who go back to all of our high schools events! Now I am actually going, Allison better remember I was there for forever!

If all goes as planned, hopefully I will get to go to Hattiesburg for the first part of next week! It is going to be wierd to back at Carey, but it should be nice to see all of my friends!

Well I think I need to go to school now. Its sad that it is 7 am and I am leaving for school... :( I wish my video would hurry up, it is taking forever to upload! I may have to leave it and post this when I come home from school!

Happiness

So I am extremely excited today!
I just found out I am getting another grant for $4000.
The Lord has blessed me so much this year and is continuing to do so!!!

This is my extended family.. kind of... Its me and two of my favorite cousins Sarah and Jess - the third was running around with windell- and then my sister and her boyfriend jake and his brother adam. Even though we look a little rough I think its cute!

Proctastination

I should not be on this.
Its almost tomorrow and I have still not finished all of my requirements for class tomorrow.

Last week I watched Fresh Prince about 1000 times because that is all that was on, this week on the same channel it is Home Improvement. its not as funny as Fresh Prince but its close.

New Experiences...

So today was the official start of my bulldog adventures. At Ms State they had what they called "Cowbell Yell" today. For some reason I was completely dumb to the fact that I would be out of place if I had no cowbell in hand. There was some 1000 or more students there and a whole crew of adults waiving about cowbells like a bunch of crazy rednecks. It was truly a culture shock for me. This cowbell yell was exactly what the title said, there was a bunch of cowbells and a bunch of yelling. One thing I thought was rather funny was we are playing my favorite tomorrow - LSU- and this was the official pep rally for the game so I thought I would hear a lot of trash talk about LSU when it fact it was not that way at all. The one phrase that I heard the most was "go to -you know where- ole miss." How funny is that!?!? You do not even have to play them to show your anger towards them!

Tomorrow is going to be day 2 of new experiences. They picked a mighty big game to try to break me in. First off its LSU and there is NO way I pull against them so i might be the only purple and gold in the student section. Then this might be there biggest game of the year... ESPN is even going to be here! - they were also there tonight taping the yelling rednecks shaking their artificial noise makers that are supposedly prohibited in the stadium. Lastly, it is a Thursay game, which is not common. So that basically means it makes parking for classes tomorrow very bad!!! So tomorrow ought to break me in! - if i make it through it!
